Seniors Sixty Plus promotes spiritual growth and Christian fellowship for all church members 60 years of age or older. This ministry seeks to connect with the seniors of Bible World and keep them involved in fellowship activities.
The Sixty Plus committee oversees the planning of all activities, which are designed to create an atmosphere conducive to encouragement and socialization. Regular events, as well as special activities, are held throughout the year.
The first Wednesday of each month, seniors gather for Coffee and Teaching.
Church Socials, when seniors gather for a time of fellowship and a meal, are held several times each year.
Outdoor events, such as Bar-B-Qs or Picnics, are held throughout the year.
Road Trips to various locales are a Sixty Plus favorite.
Sixty Plus members also make regular visits to area hospitals and send out cards of encouragement.
